Student Government Association

The 2014-2015 Annandale Student Government Association President is
Yasmin Bekri

The Student Government Association (SGA) is a permanent standing entity, which acts as the liaison between the student body and the campus administration. We receive our legitimacy and authority as representatives of the entire student body here on the NOVA Annandale Campus by the students, for the students. We represent the voice of the students by advocating for their needs and highlighting their concerns including their rights, welfare and interest (academic, cultural, social and physical). Our mission is one of constant improvement for life on campus while emphasizing the overall well being of the student body. Since we are a working collaboration with the campus administration, we try our best to implement solutions when appropriate, in order to ensure progress if any issues on campus arise. Our power to do this comes from the students themselves, who vote for our elected executive members and comprise the General Body.

Join us, and you can help make our campus a better place.

Be sure to attend our Student Town Hall meetings every Friday from 12:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. in room CA-323.
