Wordmark File Formats

For the WEB

JPG - This format is used primarily for photographs on the web.

GIF - Used for images with large areas of uniform color, this format is probably the best choice for using the College Wordmark on the web.

PNG - Similar to GIF, this format supports more colors. The disadvantage is that not all older browsers support .png display.

PDF - Proprietary Adobe format, viewable using the free Acrobat Reader.

EPS - A versatile PostScript file that can be sized without loss of quality.

TIF - Large file size, can be utilized by many publishing products.
